Sierra Leadership Institute Training Funds Attention Small Business Owners and Employees: This funding is for you! Sierra Leadership Institute has graduated 231 leaders, community members, business owners and employees trained in facilitation, effective leadership and management styles, conflict resolution, and collaborative process skills. Now in its 10th year, Sierra Leadership Institute will be offered during a dynamic 40 hour training, with leadership specialist Susan Carpenter, during the week of September 22-26 at Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, CA. Business Owners, please consider this special funding opportunity! If you are a small business owner, you or your employees may be eligible for funds, providing extra support to attend this year's Sierra Leadership Institute training (through Sierra Business Council's new contract with the State of California's Employment Training Panel). You may qualify for training funds if you:
  • Have a California Employer Account Number (CEAN) and
  • Own a business and have 1-9 employees, you may qualify for support funds to attend the training (owners must have at least 20% interest in the company), or have 10-99 employees, your employees may qualify for support funds to attend the training.
