VINE 49: "MUSIC IN THE ALLEY" - Sun Dec 6
Some people may know Amador County for its amazing Shenandoah Valley - a place locals call the "wine loop." This is a fabulous place with some wonderful wines, set in the peaceful surroundings of the rural Sierra Foothills.
Amador has a new wine loop, though. It's in the small city of Sutter Creek just a few miles south of Shenandoah Valley on Highway 49. As you enter this historic town, three tasting rooms are within walking distance. This new wine loop is perfect for people who want to park their car, do some shopping, grab a great meal and do some wine tasting.
Vine 49 is the first to greet you. It's in a small alley right off of Main Street. A few doors down is Sutter Creek Wine Tasting, followed by Scott Harvey's tasting room two more doors down.
On Sunday, Dec. 6th from 12 Noon to 4PM, this new "wine loop" will be kicking off the holidays with "Music in the Alley," right there in Hayden Alley behind Sutter Creek Wine Tasting and in front of the new Vine 49. The event will features free music by Tess (a great local blues singer), sandwiches, soups, and desserts.
All of the wineries will be offering wine specials so you can stock up for all your holiday feasts.
