Are Tobacco Companies Conducting Secret Research on Kids?

It's common knowledge that tobacco companies cannot legally market their products to youth.  However, few people know that tobacco companies can legally do research on youth to learn how and why youth get addicted to tobacco.  Philip Morris is currently funding a California public university to do research on kids as young as 14 years old to learn how their brains change when they use tobacco products, how they get addicted and how they stay addicted.  Little is known about the tobacco giant's research on youth since the research is being hidden from the public.

If you work with youth, are a parent yourself or are simply wondering why this has been shrouded in secrecy…

Come learn more about the research being conducted, why the public knows little about what is being done, and how information from the project can be used to addict more kids to tobacco.
